This is an audio clip from an interview with A. H. in which A. H. discusses the changes in Cardiff.

In his interview, A. H. recounts in detail the Tredegar Riots of 1911, and the effects that they had on his family and their businesses. A. H. says that although "root of antisemitism" was still present in Tredegar when he was growing up, he is still proud to call himself a "Tredegar boy". He also mentions the connections that he has to several significant Jewish and non-Jewish figures coming from South Wales, including Aneurin Bevan who invited A. and two of his friends to tea during the 1950s, and intervened on the behalf of A. H.'s Czech uncle who was facing deportation. A. H. talks with great compassion of his late wife, who during her life did a lot of charity work for the sick and needy.
