Description

This is an audio clip from an interview with George Schoenmann about his paternal grandmother's letters.

In his interview, George gives an interesting glimpse into the day-to-day running of his father's various businesses on the Treforest Estate and of some of the challenges that these operations faced. He also gives information about several ex-Refugee Jewish businesses based in the Treforest Estate, many of which he worked in. Finally, George talks about how and why he decided to write many books during his retirement years, ranging from his own personal history, to books on collecting cameras and cars.
