Annie Davies of Ewenny mill and farm ca 1940
Annie and sister Katie were the Davies sisters living in the farmhouse adjoining this mill, sited on the Ogmore river near Cowbridge. Their father was the last miller there. Before WW2, Annie became nanny to the Kennedy family in America, but returned to her Ewenny home when war broke out.
