This shell has been scanned as part of a research project looking at how hermit crabs and a species of marine worm co-habit. We are only able to capture the features of the shell but we are working with Swansea University to produce a 3d model with all the correct internal structures from which we hope to 3D print a complete replica in transparent material, and will hopefully be taken up by the crab and worm as a new home so we can then see how they live together.
