Looking over Esgairgeiliog from the council estate. Of note is the former slate mill complex in it's near original state before the "bays" on the right of the yard were modernised and built up into new small industrial units, Also, the former miller's house, "Mount Pleasant", demolished in 2014. The bungalow visible in the Forestry Commission camp was demolished in 2016. This part of the village would change significantly in the coming 20 years.
