Description

This is episode 6 in the series of podcasts which our project has used to explain the context within which the 1919 June Race Riots in Wales occurred. Soldiers and demobbed soldiers were very actively involved in the events of 1919, from mutinies, strikes and even riots after the war.
However the armed forces were a significant problem for the British Government as they refused to go to fight the Bolsheviks in Russia, mutinied in France and England.
