St Lythan's nursery school, Cowbridge 1968
Advertisement for this private playgroup, started in the home (St Lythan's, Westgate) of owner Margaret Greenwood. It moved on expansion into the Athletic Club Pavilion, and later to Aberthin village hall. In the 1960s and 70s, playgroups such as this were founded, before the Education Authority brought in more free nursery provision.
