Description
Julia Gunn's industrial "Brother" sewing machine. When Julia lived at RAF Brize Norton in the 1970s Julia worked from home for R.M.J Ltd ( plastics ) making sou'wester and trousers for the fishermen. It was a difficult material to sew and had to oil every seam before sewing and also place the elastic in the trousers.
