During the Second World War Louie served in the Army from 1943 to 1946.Louie is pictured here wearing his medals with his wife Megan. They are the Burma Star, the Defence medal and a Loyal service medal. They had just returned from a V.J. Commemoration service at Llanbadarn church in August 2000. Louie and Megan lived at Caerbont Ceinws Esgairgeiliog and they had two sons John and Hugh.
