The 1991 Alternative Miss World was held in the daytime. At the end of the event, the stage separated and the unaware Rula Lenska dramatically fell into the gap created! It was the same year that Miss Gale Force Wind, then then reigning Alternative Miss World, opened the Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture in Berriew, Powys.
