Glamorgan Constabulary uniform tunic
Description
A uniform tunic issued in the 1930's to a Constable of the Glamorgan Constabulary.
The letter 'D' relates to the Division, which would have covered the areas around Port Talbot, Neath, Briton Ferry etc.
Located about 20 years ago in the State of Indiana, USA, it was hanging up in a theatrical clothing store.
The gentleman who found it, was very keen to donate it to the collection* and ensure its return 'home', and back to Wales. So, for the second time in its existence......it travelled that wide expanse that is the Atlantic Ocean.
*The Ross Mather Police Memorabilia of Wales Collection.
