The old Era quarry in Ceinws/Esgairgeiliog included an open topped chamber of some 150 feet
Description
Being so close to the village the Forestry Commission filled it in during the 1970's to make it safer. The above ground back of the chamber still rears about 100 feet above the chamber and is visible from across the valley.
