Selected pages from the book 'Dringo'r Andes' by Eluned Morgan (1904). Eluned Morgan (1870-1938) is regarded as one of Patagonia's leading Welsh-language writers. She was the daughter of Lewis Jones (1836-1904), one of the founders of the Welsh Settlement. She wrote a number of articles on life in Patagonia which appeared in the periodical 'Cymru'. She was the author of four volumes: 'Dringo'r Andes' (1904), 'Gwymon y Môr' (1909), 'Ar Dir a Môr' (1913) and 'Plant yr Haul' (1915).
