Llantwit Major, Ruined Windmill
Description
In fields on the St Donats Road, stand the ruins of a windmill built in the 1580s on behalf of the Stradling owner of the manor of West Llantwit. Documentary evidence for the date comes from the fact that a workman was killed during its construction thus necessitating a post mortem.
