1940s group photo, taken in Tatura Camp, Australia, where Paulette’s Grandfather (front row, white beard) was held, as an Interned Arandora Star survivor for the duration of WW2. Oil painting alongside, of Giuseppe, was painted by a fellow interned artist, a relative of artist Fortunino Matania.
