Paulette Pelosi’s grandparents’ Cafe, ‘Southend Cafe’, 680, Mumbles Road, Swansea. Pictured on the front door, Giuseppe and Maria Carmela Pelosi with their young family in the open upper bay windows. This is circa 1920 and Paulette Pelosi’s father (born 1917) is the small toddler on the far right of the right-hand bay window. It was captured by celebrated Welsh photographer of Mumbles. M.A. Clare (1879-1965) who had a photographic studio a few doors from these Pelosi premises.
