Description
Flooding, Cowbridge High Street 1947
The bus has been identified as a Western Welsh No. 168. The fire engine is a 1940 Albion Sp. KN126, with a Kerr Jennings pump escape body and a Drysdale 700 gpm pump - registration number ETX 232. It went into service in Bridgend in 1940, and passed to Monmouth in 1948. This fire engine must have responded from Bridgend to the flooding in Cowbridge.
