Description

William Meloch Hughes writes to confirm his intention to emigrate to Patagonia. He will be leaving on 5 April. He intends to buy a good rifle and a revolver in Liverpool. In November 1881, Hughes was appointed schoolmaster at Moriah, near Trelew. His memories of life in Patagonia were published in the volume 'Ar lannau'r Gamwy ym Mhatagonia' (1927).
