Henrhyd Farm is close to the famous Henrhyd Falls near Coelbren in Powys. In 1848 it as being leased by Howell Benjamin, along with another farm, Corsllwyndu, half a mile away. The Benjamin family lived at Corsllwyndu for at least 40 years, as they are shown to be there on the census records from 1841 to 1871.
