The 'Aberystwyth Official Guide and Souvenir' published by the Aberystwyth Corporation in 1924 contains an advert for this auctioneers and estate agents which includes a photography of this distinctive building. The partners names are included - Daniel L Rees and David Evans - and over 23 years experience is promoted. The firm maintained a register of businesses and private properties for sale and let, along with furnished houses and apartments. Sales and valuations were personally conducted and prompt settlements guaranteed through their bankers The National and Provincial and Union Bank of England Ltd.
