William Robert Hughes
Was born Newport Mon in 1925 and was living in Caerleon Road Newport Mon, with his parents Robert and Annie and was on the Staff at Lyaghts, William was a private in the Devonshire Regiment and was Killed in Action on the 06th of April 1945, aged 20 he his buried in the Hanover War Cemetery Germany.
