Daniel Roy Quaintance
Was born Cardiff Glamorganshire in July 1922 and was living in Cromwell Road Newport Mon, with his parents Daniel and Francis and worked as Feeder in the Sheet works at Lysaghts, Daniel was a Flight Sargent in the Royal Air Force (Volunteer Reserve) he was killed when his plane was shot down while in the air over Burma on the 11th December 1944, aged 22 he his remembered on the Singapore Memorial.
