If you politely allow me to make a small correction, the Hotel in the photo was known in former times as the Saracen's Head. Later became Llais Afon Inn. There was another Tavern known as the Bee Hive Inn, later became the Wheatsheaf Inn. Unfortunately by 2013, they are both closed, leaving the village without a public house.
