Postcard GB Squibbs Cardigan Aberporth No. 87, showing early ships

"I was given a tiny suitcase a few years ago by my Aunt and discovered in it a little time capsule of my grandfather Charles Waldon's memorabilia which must have meant something to him, but now its meaning to him is lost. He was born in northern Devon UK, went to WW1, was injured in India, and then in 1920 came out to Australia where he later married, ran a general store in central western Victoria, had two children, and eventually passed away in 1961. I never knew him, but I enjoyed the discovery, and am happy to share some of its contents with you."
