During the 2020 lockdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic, signs appeared in communities in Wales to thank key workers, NHS staff and to share positivity along with signs to encourage tourist to go home and for locals to stay home.

These photos were sent to us by Kass Dunbar of the signs thanking paramedics and shop workers. Kas said "They were on Picton Terrace in Carmarthen early on in lockdown. There were so many beautiful messages thanking everyone who was still working (farmers, fire service, police, carers etc) from the Roundabout at the Lammas Street end all the way up to Union Street."
