Description

During the 2020 lockdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic, signs appeared in communities in Wales to thank key workers, NHS staff and to share positivity along with signs to encourage tourist to go home and for locals to stay home.

This photo was sent to us by Donna Louise Williams of the sign in Llanrwst that reads "Daw Eto Haul Ar Fryn, Diolch NHS" which can be translated as "The sun will rise again over the hill, Thank you NHS".
