Description

A purpose-built village for employees of the Dowlais Iron Works in the nineteenth century, Pengarnddu essentially no longer exists. However for at least four decades a substantial proportion of its residents were 'Mormons' - members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This article appeared in the July 2020 issue of 'Ninnau' and is reprinted here with permission.
