The young girl on the right is my Mother, May Hewlett. Proud parents Anthony & Beatrice Hewlett of Old Road Briton Ferry have put a bow in her hair and recorded the moment. Eldest son Vernon (b.1912) and big sister Rose beside. May went on to have 10 children of her own, 8 of them sons; Vernon had six daughters and Rose's life was cut short in a tragic road accident.
