My dearest Lillie
Just a short line or two to thank you for yours. There is nothing to relate except the trivial round, jour par jour, and I am still here. Will you take the 10/- that I owe you for Feb, if you have enough? I hope to do something to clear it off soon.
At present I intend getting Betty watched and that will run away with about £10. The socks reached me alright! My last servant went up the line with a pair “ by mistake”!! Can you wonder we get short of them.
Excuse the brevity of this –it has been said that brevity is the soul of wit – I must be witty.
Fondest love
Your loving brother
Harry
