Flintshire Constabulary helmet plate
Description
A Queens Crown, post 1953 chrome plated helmet plate of the former Flintshire Constabulary. It was the Home Office police force for the county of Flintshire from 1856 until 1967.
In 1965, the force had an establishment of 256 and an actual strength of 231.
In 1967, Flintshire amalgamated with Denbighshire Constabulary and Gwynedd Constabulary, to form a new Gwynedd Constabulary, which in 1974 was renamed North Wales Police.
