Description

Bethania Chapel, Aberangell. Bethania Chapel was built to replace Hebron and the work commenced in 1902, much of it carried out by volunteer labour with the exception of the masonry and carpentry. It was completed in 1904 with a vestry and caretaker’s house added later. A surrounding wall and railings was erected by workers involved in timber sawing in the area who stayed in the village during the 1914-20 period. From collection by Gwyndaf Breese.
