An early postcard view of the main street of Dinas Mawddwy which is claimed to be around the late 1880s. By this time a gate across the road to control entry on fair days had been removed. No other photographs from this location have come to light until the 1930s by which time the large tree has gone to make way for a new house. From the collection of Gwyndaf Breese.
