Plas Dinas Early 1900s
Description
Plas yn Dinas,to give it its proper name was built by Edmund Buckley in the 1850s who had visions of it being among the best mansions in North Wales, a dream he had no chance of realising. Having overstretched himself financially and gone bankrupt in 1876 he left to live in a modest abode in Aberhirnant by 1901 by which time the building was in use as a retreat for mentally handicapped gentlemen. From the collection of Gwyndaf Breese.
