Description

Bwlch Oerddrws between Dinas Mawddwy & Dolgellau, 1930s. Bwlch yr Oerddrws does not appear to have attracted the same attention as its counterpart in Llanymawddwy and this 1930s view is not, perhaps, the best of positions to indicate its steep lower section. Often closed by snow in winter until recent times the sharp bend at the top was deliberately introduced by the Turnpike Trust to slow down the traffic in time. From the collection of Gwyndaf Breese
