Description

This photograph was sent to us by Gerard Hancock who said: "On 2nd June 1982, during his visit to the UK, Pope John Paul II celebrated Mass at Pontcanna Fields, Cardiff. My father was one of the volunteer stewards for the event who were identified by yellow berets and armbands. He was given a Ciborium used during the Mass in thanks."
