The Queen & Edwards
Ann Spooner, Wife of William Spooner
of Tredegar Iron Works in the County of
Monmouth. - States that on Sunday the
3rd of November InstEvan Edwards Watch and
Clock Maker came to her back door (her
Husband being absent from Home on his
business as a General Dealer) She was
alone he inquired if she had any Pistols
She said no She had none but one which
was out of repair he said please to let
me look at that one he said he would
repair it if she choose I told him she
did not think he could repair it he
said oh yes he could he said he would
take it repair it and return it by
nine O' Clock on Monday Morning.-
Edwards then asked me if I had any
Bullet Moulds I told him we had none
but one, and that was a very large one
and would not do for that Pistol, he
then asked to look at it I showed it
him he then asked the Price I told
him I did not know as Mr. Spooner
never told me the price he said he would
take it and pay Mr. Spooner whatever
he asked for it
