1. H. Ewins - details the attack upon the Westgate - saw the Prisr
the day before the Riots talking to Young Wells - did not hear what passed
knows nothing of the Case -
2. G Oliver. Prisoner worked for him as a Painter he refused to work
extra hours, because he attended Chartist meetings - said they would get
the Charter - he hoped without bloodshed.
3. S. Rogers took the prisoner near Stow gate - very wet - no arms
4. J. O'Dwyer present at Westgate when prisoner was brought in -
he was very wet & dirty -
