immediate, I immediately had all the dead
bodies that were in the house removed and placed
some in the Court Yard and some in the

passage leading to the Kitchen - When things became
quiet I collected some more of the dead bodies from
outside the house and placed them with the other
dead bodies in the house there were in the whole
nine dead bodies - when I was fired upon I did
not want any instructions to return it, the Mayor
was by my side - I don't remember whether the
door of the room in which I found the prisoners
was open or not
