I made my escape from the men after seeing Frost, and got into
a cow shed and dropped off to sleep -
[in left hand margin against the above :- escaped ]
The young man on Horse back I met upon the Road
appeared about 20 years of age. He was dressed in a round
blue jacket buttoned up in front - a sort of Cap like an
Ostlers Cap with a peak to him before. A Bay Horse I
think it was. I believe he had trousers on. Nothing
particular round his face. what I could see of him he
had a whitish face. He was not very fat. It was about
4 oClock. between 3 & 4 when I came out of the Keven
I am a native of Paulton - Somersetshire. My father
and mother lives there.
