John Morgan of Tredegar Collier States
That he pressed down to Newport Sunday
night 4th November last with the mob -
He went down with them to the Westgate
Inn. He carried a pike . When he came
to the Westgate - He saw Mr Frost near
the Window where the Soldiers were
I had previously seen him in the
Park ordering the Men. I was about
______________at the Westgate
five or six yards from him ^ when I looked
round and heard him say "Fire"
"Fire" "Fire". I was then shot and fell
down and I saw no more of Mr
Frost
