swear there was nothing there - if there was something there

some one else must have put it there - this was in the presence

and hearing of her husband - She said there was but a bag of

Straw there to keep the wind from coming into the room

Aust made answer and said he would swear he had

placed nothing there - that he had never had any thing

to do except with the Chartists he had paid a penny a

week towards that up to the present time - that is all that

he said - I told him I had found some Chartist Cards in

his House - I did not tell him how many - he told me he

got them from Frost - he did not say which Mr Frost-

I have nothing particular to say respecting the Prisoner

at the Bar as to what look place on that day - Aust

did not say to whom he paid the penny a week - Moses Scard
