The names of the officials of the Ffestiniog branch of 'Cymdeithas Ymfudol y Cymry' (the Welsh Emigration Society) were as follows:
Mr G. Griffiths ('Gutyn Ebrill', President); Mr H. Roberts, Tanygrisiau (Vice-president); Mr E. G. Lloyd (Secretary); Mr William Thomas, Glanaber and Mr Thomas Davies, Tanygrisiau (Treasurers).
