Henry Jones says he was compelled to
join the mob they took him from
his lodgings at Risca. Escaped from
them where the turnpike road crosses
the tramroad. Is a na[i]ler of
Crickhowell

W[illia]m Lewis works at the Dock went to
Cardiff yesterday evening & left at 3
o'clock this morning

J[oh]n Moore works for Mr Stoner lives
at Mrs Palmers, left his house
Saturday evening & went to Cardiff
with two or three men the names of
neither of whom are known to man. W[illia]m
Lewis went with me. We left Cardiff at about 3 this mor[ning]

John Jones is a servant at the Royal Oak
in Thomas Street. He heard about half
past two o'clock that his sister was taken ill
His sister lives with Mr Jones at the Machen
parish. I went to my sisters & reached
there about 5 o'clock. I saw my sister & Mr
Jones. I stayed there until 9 o'clock when I
went down to the village. I stayed in the village
until near 3 oclock. I was in the Forum
Ishta from 9 until 3. The girls & the boys
were in the house with me. I am from
Caerphilly. I returned through the
village of Bassalleg and to Pyecorner town
I came to Stow Hill.
