Smith- He works for Mr Evans of Pillgwenlly I know the Prisoner Jenkin
Morgan- on Wednesday Evening the
30th October last the Prisoner came to
my House about 6 o'Clock and said he
wanted to see my Husband- I informed
Prisoner that my Husband was not come
from work- He then went home-

I live at Pillgwenlly in the same House
as Eliza Gibby - My Husband is a
Watchman in the Employ of Mr. Samuel
Homfray - The Prisoner came to the
House in which I live on Wednesday Evening the 30th October last - The Wednesday before the Riots - I was standing
outside the Wall that is in front
of my door - I saw him in conversation
with another Man who was in his Shirt Sleeves-
I heard Prisoner say "Frost is gone to the
Hills to get out the Colliers" - and that
he was not to be alarmed if he were
called upon - That he Prisoner was doubtful
there would be bad works in Pill and
Newport before Sunday or
Monday night - I can't say which-
I was very much alarmed and
ran to the yard in which my husband
