Brief for the Prosecution

Indictment -

For conspiring on 1st October and other days at

Aberystruth with divers persons to raise insurrection and

oppose the due execution of the Law and to procure arms

for more efficiently carrying said conspiracy with effect

that prisoners in furtherance of said conspiracy did during

the time aforesaid make divers pikes and deliver the same

to divers persons for the purpose of being used in carrying

sd conspiracy into effect agst the peace &c _

2nd Count -

That prisoner on sd 1st November & on divers other

days did proceed and make divers pikes and delivered

the same to divers persons with intent and for the

purpose of being used by such persons for the more

effectivally making insurrections &c_ & obstructing the

execution of the Laws -
