I remember Sunday night 3rd
Novr Inst - I went to Bed about
10 About 11 A number
of men broke in my Brother in
Laws House he was in bed
I got up & went in amongst
them they had Staves with him
he said as I was bound to come
along with them. I said I would not

I know that man His name
is Isaac Williams. He lives
by the Copper Works .
ed to put the
Stools on the fire I told them
not to do that or I should
not come with them they
did not I begged them not
to make much noise

Page 2:
as they frighten my Children
in bed & My Brother in Law
was in bed I went with them
I went as far as W... near
the Welsh Oak. I got away
from them I went back to
Mr Duffields at Risca but they
was as full as they could
hold & went away
& staid out till 7 Oclock
I was very wet I stopd
near the Welsh Oak half an
hour There was a Man
with a Cleaver amongst the
people.
