Morn-g saw prisoner he said to me of the Chartists
"you are running away" the man said "we shall not
one of us run away we are all tired" bye & bye there
will be 20,000 more men coming down but we have
had no rest since last Friday night & we are very tired"

Mens Association signed "Edward Frost" Treasurer.

3 Saw Prisoner at Stow Hill after the Mob retreated.
