My Dear Sir
I inclose a list of the Witnesses on
the back of the Bill, the marks against four
of the names import that I have not their
Examinations, and that I should be obliged by
having a copy of Each before I leave town. The
difficulty I felt upon being informed of the
service of the supplemental list of witnesses was
not confined to its being limited to some of
the prisoners only - It will be considered and
possibly I may have occasion to write to you upon it.
Your mode of Serving may for any thing I know to
the contrary be preferable to that which we adopted
nevertheless I do not despair of being able to prove
it

if called upon that each prisoner was served with a
true copy of the original now in my possession, with
the difference only that the blank in the heading was
filled in with the name of the individual on whom
served.

I am My Dear Sir

Yours very truly

Geo Maule
