Mr W. P. Roberts earnestly
requests that Mr Phelps will

call on his case the first
thing this morning. There
is no reason to believe that
it will occupy more than
a very short time

Mr R. is at Newport
on the defence of Mr.
Frost and his confinement
is a serious injury to his client.

Dear Sir

I beg to thank you
for your note.

I applied to the
Magistrates yesterday two or
three times and Mrs Frost
has made several applications
to the Mayor - and in every
instance very courteous replies
have been received - but they
tell me that you have the
whole management as to the
order in which the cases
will be heard

This morning I will again
apply to the magistrates though I fear
if some arrangement is not made before
they meet that I shall be too late as Mr
Harris will then have received the list of
those who he is to take up. I trust you
will assist me and am

Yours faithfully WP Roberts Tuesday
