Rebuilding History: The Tredegar Arms
Description
Made In Tredegar presents a series of short films focusing in some of the iconic buildings in Blaenau Gwent. From Inns and Taverns, to places of Worship, Industrial production and Social Gatherings.
As one of the earliest public houses in Tredegar, The Tredegar Arms became one of the major iconic buildings in what is known today as "The Circle". Having undergone an extensive refurbishment, this building has begun to give up it's secrets! From Chartist muskets hidden in its walls, to centuries old staircases and jail cells unearthed in the basement, The Tredegar Arms is one of the jewels in the crown of Blaenau Gwent.
This project was supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Welsh Government and CADW. Made with the people of Blaenau Gwent and the Volunteers of Made In Tredegar. English and Welsh subtitles are available through the Youtube subtitling feature.
